Information
Our 3d molds are printed with PLA+ which is a plastic filament. This means you cannot wash them in hot water or put them into a dishwasher as you will warp them. Simply rinse them under cold water and allow them to air dry. They wont be able to be used for a day until they dry completely. PLA+ holds water so using them and hand drying will not remove all the water and you will end up activating your bath bombs.
We also DO NOT sand our molds down for a smooth finish we only remove any blemishes. If you wish to sand the mold down to make it smoother we recommend using a fine grit sandpaper and slowly sand it down. Rinse the mold afterwards in cold water before using to remove any dust. We wash the molds before sending out.
Not all of our bath bomb molds are plunger style molds. If you have any questions please do email us before purchasing. We have tested molds before selling so we know they work.
Hand press molds like ours require hand strength, they can be used carefully with hand presses if you struggle to press them with your hands however we are not responsible if your mold cracks due to this as we do not recommend it. We also advise to contact us if you intend to use it in a press as we can increase the strength of the molds.
We measure our molds when printing from the tallest point on the mold so if you have any queries then take into account the longest point of the mold will be the sized part. Sometimes this can be deceiving and molds can be alot smaller than you think. Please ensure that you double check sizing before ordering as we cannot refund for a wrong sized order.
If you have any problems or struggle to use the molds please do join our facebook group we having a bunch of people who are always willing to help others out.
